Pay it Forward-

We are so blessed to be able to travel and meet people all over the world. We have developed relationships with these charities personally and they are very precious to us. We wanted to share them with you and if you feel inclined to support them we thank you in advance.

Mai Tam House of Hope- While we were living in Viet Nam we volunteered at this orphanage. There are over 500 children all with HIV or AIDS who's families have abandoned them because of their illness of which of course they are the victims. We grew to love the children and the people who take care of them and we continue to support them even though we are no longer living there. Please consider helping them as just a few dollars goes a long way in Viet Nam. Click here for a way to donate through their US charity. This is a video we took during there music class.

Compassion International- We have been sponsoring our two children for the last 10 years. Ashanty is 11 years old and lives in the Dominican Republic and Emmanuel is 12 years old and lives in Tanzania Africa. We look forward to their letters every month telling us about their lives. We love it that we are able to contribute to their lives and pay for their education, food and clothing. It's important for Justice to know that other children in the world are not as fortunate as he is. Click here for information about how you can help a child in need.

CASA Court Appointed Special Advocates- This CA-based organization was started back in the 80's to help foster children have a voice in the foster care system. Special people volunteer their time to develop a relationship with foster children and then submit their wishes and concerns in court on the child's behalf. I was a foster parent for 16 years and fostered 65 children over the years and adopted 6 of them. I can't begin to tell you how important this program is please consider helping. The LifeSet Network- a program of Youth Villages, connects former foster youth to a network of supporters from around the country. Youth can receive vital help from the Network's diverse pool of supporters to navigate the tough transition into independent adulthood. After 18 many young people in Foster Care continue to need help which is not available to them through the traditional system any longer. This program provides that continued support.
